She was predeceased by: her former husband Steve Nelson; her brother Ron Arnoldi; her brother-in-law Steve Bell; and her parents, John Mellinger and Margaret Mellinger.

She is survived by: her husband Mark Mellinger; her children, Aaron Nelson (Mickey) and Angie Morrelle (Dan); her grandchildren, Kylee, Karis Nelson, Brandon Fierst (Raychel) and Emma Morrelle; her sister Carol Bell; and her siblings-in-law, Jack Mellinger (Sharon), Bob Mellinger (Mary), Gerald "Cookie" Mellinger (Janine) and Dawn Steckmesser (Jim). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
