He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Schmidt and Irene Schmidt (Thor); his brother Bernard Schmidt Jr.; his parents-in-law, Edward and Bernice Vieau; his brother-in-law Michael Vieau; and his pets, Mittens and Katrina.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Schmidt; his daughter Vicki Schmidt; his son-in-law Phillip Gutierrez; his sister Mary Bergner; his sisters-in-law, Florence Schmidt and Patty Vieau; and his pet Laya. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
