He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Balaban and Muriel Balaban (Zeiger); and his brother Edward Balaban (Anna). He is survived by: his nephew Mark Balaban (Michael Balaban); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Scott Balaban (Gabrielle), Carly Balaban, Emily Balaban and Brady Balaban; Finley and Ari Balaban. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
