She is survived by: her parents, Kenneth Scherer and Sylvia Scherer; her daughter Victoria Birkholz; her son-in-law Todd Birkholz of Manitowoc; her grandchildren, Taylynn, Emmett and Wyatt; her son Alex Hansen (Kali Hansen) of Waukesha; her siblings, Rebecca Scherer, Melanie Scherer (Marshall Fanslau) and Nick Scherer (Allison Scherer); her nieces, Tristan Petersen and Novaleigh Scherer; her nephew Griffin Scherer; and her friend Mark Schaller.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Jackie's name may be made to the Lakeshore Humane Society—an organization close to her heart.
