He was predeceased by: his parents, John Braun and Laura Braun (Grall); his wife Darlene Braun of Mary's Catholic Church; his father-in-law Earl Nelson (Lydia); his brothers, Harold Braun (Katie), Eugene Braun (Dorothy) and Clem Braun (Marianne); and his in-laws, Robert Nelson, Russell Nelson (Darla) and Sharon Stryhn (Gary).
He is survived by: his children, Steven Braun (Debra), Michael Braun (Sally), Lisa Robinson (Jeff) and Timothy Braun (Amy); his grandchildren, A. J. Spackman (Amber), Trevor Braun (Natalee), Courtney Braun (Treven) and Halle Braun (Trenton); his great grandchildren, Jordyn and Josie Spackman; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Nelson, Randy Nelson (Karen), Rick Nelson (Linda) and Corie Siara (Kris). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (2109 Marshall St &, S 21st St, Manitowoc, WI 54220). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assis Parish (2109 Marshall St &, S 21st St, Manitowoc, WI 54220). An entombment will be held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery & Chapel (2601 S 14th St, Manitowoc, WI 54220).
