It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jon Schmidt of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 21, 2025, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jon Schmidt to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his father John "Jack" L. Schmidt; his stepmother Jean Gilbert; and his brother-in-law Kenneth Mraz. He is survived by: his mother Kathy Bruette (LaPointe); his wife Charlene Schmidt; his children, Tristen Mraz, Dillen Weber, Brooklen Mraz and Abriel Knapp; his siblings, Sandy Reichard (Joe Shimek), Tom Schmidt, Jodi Schamburek (Ken), Amy Campbell (Tony Junk), Pam LeGreve (Mark), Jason Schmidt (Mary-Kate O'Hara), Rebecca Hetue (Mike), John Bruette, Rochelle Domondon (Ben), Carol Ronski and Ron Ronski (Sandra); his parents-in-law, LeRoy Mraz (Barb) and Sandra Brantmeier (Jeff); his siblings-in-law, Shannon Mraz and Ryan Mraz; his nephew Patrick Davis; and his friend Eric Morris. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Jon's family to assist with medical and funeral expenses.
