He is survived by: his wife Debra Keil (Popp); his children, Kiley Ouradnik (Dean), Tyler Schleis (Bre) and Zach Schleis; his grandchildren, Devon Kolbeck, Bryce Kolbeck, Keshaun McAllister, Kohlton Siemers, Kasen Schleis and Marley Schleis; his stepchildren, Kurt Scherer (Jolene), Nic Wachowski and Michele Wachowski; his stepgrandchildren, Devin, Kameron, Karson and Karter; his siblings, Beverly Trost (David) and James Schleis (Ann); and his close friends, Sarina Kay and Brian Cherney. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
