He is survived by: his children, Leonard Coombs Jr. (Shirley) of Ann Arbor, MI, Margaret "Peggy" Turnbull (Robert), Jean Welnicke (Joseph) and Ann Barbier (Robert); and his grandchildren, John Coombs (Claire), Anne Coombs (Matt Robertson), Andrew Turnbull, Kelly Stahl (Eric), Lisa Fahney (Dustin), Madeline Barbier-Johnson (Keenan Johnson) and Jack Barbier (Jennifer). He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
