She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Matte and Alma Matte (Heise); her daughter Amanda Krueger; and her siblings, Leroy Matte, Kenneth Matte, Meryl Matte, Lloyd Matte, Patricia Schwoerer, Gene Matte, Bruce Matte and Darlene Johnson.
She is survived by: her husband Jim; her children, Steven MacDonald (Gayle), Jeffrey MacDonald (Michele), Kathryn Surges (Todd) and Pamela Ney (Jerry); her grandchildren, Justin MacDonald, Robert MacDonald (Anna) and Emily MacDonald; her great grandchild Annie MacDonald; and her siblings-in-law, Sue Matte, Janice Matte, Dawn Matte and Gary Johnson (Karen). She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home (628 N Water St, Manitowoc, WI 54220). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials in Lois' name.
