With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lynn Strauss of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Lynn left this world on November 7, 2025 at the age of 76, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Krainik and Elva Krainik (Meurer); her son John Dennis Strauss; and her brother John Krainik. She is survived by: her husband John "Jack" Strauss of Mary's Catholic Church; her children, Terry Strauss (Jodi) of Manitowoc, Lisa Ryder (Kevin) of Manitowoc, Shane Strauss (Lynn Lappegard) of Manitowoc, Kim Strauss of Manitowoc and Becky Belinske (Ryan) of Manitowoc; her grandsons, Travis Ryder (Kiley), John Ryder and Brady Strauss; her great grandchild Sophia Ryder; and her siblings-in-law, Jim Strauss (Don) of Davenport, IA and Dolores Rohrer (Dick) of Tucson, AZ. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi (1114 S 21st St, Manitowoc, WI 54220). A burial was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery (2221 Michigan Ave, Manitowoc, WI 54220).
