It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret A. Bembenek of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 1, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Roman; her parents, Frank Kontney and Laura Kontney (Rekowski); her brothers, Ronald and Jerome; and her son Michael.

She is survived by: her children, Alan Bembenek (Michele) of Concord, MA and Debra Lang (Kenneth) of Denver, NC; her daughter-in-law Cheryl Bembenek of Chilton; her grandchildren, Stacy Fandetti (Glen) of Charlotte, NC, David Bembenek (Kayla) of Chilton, Jason Lang (Shelley) of Plainfield, IL, Aaron Bembenek of Melbourne, Victoria, Ashley Hicks (T. J.) of Charlotte, NC and Tyler Bembenek (Juliana Kang) of Cambridge, MA; her great grandchildren, Audrey, Charles and Bradley Bembenek of Chilton; her grandchildren, Matthew, Stella, Caroline Fandetti of Charlotte, NC, Siena, Aria Lang of Plainfield, IL, Christopher and Jacob Hicks of Charlotte, NC; her siblings, Mary Firkus of Neenah, William Kontney of Stevens Point and David Kontney (Lori) of Sussex; her sister-in-law Louise Stroik of Traverse City, MI; and her close friends, Ann, George, Ruth, Joe and Elaine. She is also survived by several cousins; and many nieces and nephews.
