In the vast expanse of eternity, Mark shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Mark farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Wachtel and Ethel M. Wachtel (Pries); and his brother Warren Schwantes. He is survived by: his sons, Nick Wachtel (Sam), Andrew Wachtel and Brad Wachtel (Jen); his grandchildren, Cambria Wachtel, Easton and Cooper Wachtel; and his siblings, Nancy Olien (Mike) and Mike Schwantes (Sharon).
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made in honor of Mark to the Gumby's Club for a Cure Foundation in Manitowoc and Pink Heels.
