It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Gates of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, who passed away on May 4, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Klackner and Theresa Klackner (Haws); her husband Robert Gates; her son James Gates; her sons-in-law, Quang-Trung Le and Thomas Lehmkuhl; her siblings, Lorraine Bartelme (Gordon), Paul Klackner (Janet) and Betty Klackner; her siblings-in-law, Betty Giese and Michael Ogle; and her nephew William Bartelme.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Gates and Kathy Soukup (Steven); her grandchildren, Melissa Polcen (Adam), Michael Le (Allison) and Libby Le; and her great grandchildren, David, Everett, Josephine, Isabelle and Violet. She is also survived by Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
