It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Vallis of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, born in Waukesha, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 16, 2020, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Newby and Kathleen Newby (Claffey). She is survived by: her husband Ted Vallis; her children, Benjamin Vallis (Naomi) of Palo Alto, CA and Elizabeth Hofacker (Luke) of Muscotah, KS; her grandchildren, Payton, Madilyn, Kathryn, Isaac, Eli and Edward; and her siblings, Kathleen Powers (Leonard), Linda Frederick (Mark), Barbara Borgwardt (Randal), William Newby (Barbara) and Robert Newby (Vicki). She is also survived by other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials in Mary's name which will be used to benefit pancreatic cancer research.
