He is survived by: his wife Betsy Kretsch; his daughter Julie Nickels (Mike); his grandchildren, Thomas Nickels (Christine) of Minneapolis, MN, Dr. Eric Nickels (Sarah Dabagh) of Los Angeles, CA and Joseph Nickels (Joyce Chen) of Seattle, WA; his great grandchild Benjamin Nickels; his sister Debbi Lorge (Brian); and his nieces and nephews, Wally Panosh, Larry Panosh, Myles Panosh, Lori Steele, Zackeri Drill, David Drill and Patrick Lorge.
