He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Stangel and Alice Schleis Stangel. He is survived by: his wife Mardell Rosinsky; his children, Steven Stangel (Kim) of Indianapolis, IN and Stella Ragsdale (Greg); his stepdaughters, Sandy Narten (Steve) of Manitowoc, Linda Horbeck of Manitowoc and Terry Kunesh (Ray) of Manitowoc; his grandchildren, Dane, Drew, Brendan and Madison; his stepgrandchildren, Tracey, Rae, Stephanie, Scott and Tiffany; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Taylor, Shelby and Colson; and his siblings, Bernard "Casey" Stangel (Cathy) and Catherine Zellner (Al). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family for a donation of their choice.
