It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Franke of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 20, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Franke and Eleanor Franke (Spevacek). He is survived by: his wife Judie (Backus); his daughter Melissa Shirk (Tim); his grandchildren, Kiley, Alana and Carson of Broadway, Virginia; his daughter Karlene Hendon (Aaron); his grandchildren, Zachary, Carissa, Hannah and Xander of Elm Grove, Wisconsin; his son Aaron Franke (Jessica); his grandchildren, Paxton, Cambry, Kolden and Ryson of Fargo; his child Mikell Franke (Kristen); his grandsons, Grayson and Weston of North Mankato, Minnesota.; his brothers, Roger Franke (Ann) of Davenport, Iowa and Richard (Linda) of West Bend, Wisconsin; and his brothers-in-law, Don Backus (Mav) of Somers, Connecticut and Jim Backus (Meg) of St. Louis, Missouri..
