He is survived by: his wife Darlene Kono; his stepchildren, Kelly Lopez and Adam Meidl; his stepgrandchildren, Miguel Lopez, Jose Mareno, Yasmine Mareno, Jaxen Meidl and Blake Meidl; his stepgreat-grandson Neithan; his siblings, Julie Brooks (Don), Mary Malek (Mike), John Kono (Eileen) and Barbara Distasio; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Kono, Deb Kalbes, David Posen (Ellie), Diane DeBenedetto (Terry), Douglas Posen (Lisa), Donna Posen (Jeff Hibbard), Darrell Posen (Tami Rouse) and Dennis Posen (Nicole). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
