She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale Lanter and Agnes Lanter (Hietala); her husband Dwight Phillips; her brother Dale; and her sister-in-law Jodell Lanter.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Ward (Raleigh) of Long Lake, IL, Paula Phillips of Baltimore, MD, Pam Baize (Shelby) and Lucinda Clapper (Timothy); her grandchildren, Jeffery Clapper (Abigail), Shelby Read Baize III, Sarah Clapper, William Baize (Marina), Hollace Ward, Emma Clapper, Phillip Baize, Michael Clapper and Joshua Baize; and her great grandchild Jude Baize. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Alzheimer's Association in her memory.
