We announce the death of Shelby Pfeffer of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 18, 2026, at the age of 87. Shelby will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clement Meyer and Harriet Meyer (Thieleke); her husband Glenn Pfeffer; her in-laws, Edgar and Mayme Pfeffer; her siblings-in-law, Gwendolyn Denor (Leo) and Joseph Kupsh; and her cousin George Pautz.
She is survived by: her children, Kevin Pfeffer (Lisa) of Manitowoc and Brynn Schander (Craig) of Libertyville, Illinois; her great grandchildren, Ashley Eick (Brian) of Manitowoc, Amy Edler (Ben) of Manitowoc, Eric Fulkerson (Andria) of Payette, Kate McCoy (Dave) of Libertyville and Joanna Suhayda of South Elgin, Illinois.; her sister-in-law Elaine Kupsh of Two Rivers; her cousin Diane Bub of Houston, Texas; Isabella, Grant, Cullen, Brynn, Grace, Beau, Sage, Mason and Nina. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and special friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church (3209 Meadow Ln, Manitowoc, WI 54220). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Shelby's name would be appreciated for Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church, or the donor's choice.
