Steven M. Groelle Obituary

Manitowoc - Steven M. Groelle, age 62, a Manitowoc resident, died Thursday, January 25, 2018 as the result of an automobile accident. He was born on August 22, 1955 in Manitowoc, WI, son of the late Reinhard and Elaine (Kaminski) Groelle. Steve was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School and served in the United States Army.

He was a foreman at Union Pacific Railroad for the past 39 years. Steve had developed a skill as a mechanic and always made himself available to help anyone in need. He enjoyed year round bon fires, brewer games, cookouts, spending time with his grandchildren and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by four daughters and one son-in-law: Rebecca Groelle, Neenah, Heidi and Benjamin Andrade, Bangs, TX, Kayla Figueroa, Bangs, TX, Erica Garcia, Manitowoc; two sons and one daughter-in-law: Steven and Katie Groelle, Manitowoc, Dustin Groelle, Neenah; 16 grandchildren: Mason, Olivia, Elise, Jaxon, Molly, Deven, Diana, Dillon, Gabriel, Yovani, Ihana, Ezra, Jordan, Nayeli, Emiliano, and Zamiyah; two sisters and one brother-in-law: Linda Synon and Lee Reno, Manitowoc, Arlette DeBaere, Manitowoc; seven brothers and four sisters-in-law: James Groelle, FL, Robert and Kathy Groelle, FL, Keith Groelle, Manitowoc, Patrick Groelle, Two Rivers, Scott and Bonnie Groelle, Manitowoc, David and Linda Groelle, Manitowoc, Michael and Dodie Groelle, Two Rivers.

Nieces, nephews other relatives and friends also survive. Steven was also preceded in death by one daughter: Melody Groelle; one sister: Melody Groelle-Rathsack; one brother-in-law: Raymond Synon; one sister-in-law: Susan Groelle; and mother of his children: Diana "Dee Dee" Groelle. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at the All-Care Center, Manitowoc (925 South 14th Street).

Officiating at the service will be Pastor Joe Guglielmo. Cremation has occurred at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc and entombment at Knollwood will take place at a later date.
