William Pohlmann Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Pohlmann of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 6, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though William may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He is survived by: his parents, William Pohlmann and Lillian Pohlmann (Muenzmaier); his wife Katherine Pohlmann; his sons, William Pohlmann, Jr. of Cottage Grove, MN and Barry Pohlmann Moellendorf (Cherelle Pohlmann Moellendorf) of Los Angeles, CA; and his grandchildren, Brennah and Coen Pohlmann Moellendorf.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the First Lutheran Church (521 N 8th St, Manitowoc, WI 54220). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 11:30 AM and at 12:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Noon Rotary Club of Manitowoc, where Bill had given his longest and most enduring service to support scholarships and service in Manitowoc.
