With sadness, we share the passing of Donald James Koeller of Marathon, Wisconsin. Donald, born on December 23, 1934, passed away on July 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Erwin Koeller and Lucinda Koeller (Harder); his brothers, Kenneth and Gerald; and his grandson Brandon Koeller.
He is survived by: his wife Lois H. Buttke; his children, Gail Gumtz (Brian), Karen Koeller, Bruce Koeller (Brenda) and Brian Koeller; his grandchildren, Nicholas Gumtz (Christy), Michelle Tatera (John), Brett Koeller (Lisa), Caleb Koeller, Kolby Koeller and Jaden Koeller (Claire); his great grandchildren, Alexander, Dominic Gumtz, Jack Baumer, Abigail and Benjamin Tatera; and his brother Robert Koeller. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Matthew Lutheran Church Building Fund or the Little Lions Child Care in Marathon.
