He was predeceased by: his father William Popkey; his brother Timothy; his uncle Richard Bernhardt (Marilyn); and his aunt Diana Bernhardt. He is survived by: his mother Rose Marie Popkey (Bernhardt); his brother Chris Popkey of Marinette; his sibling's children, Hunter, Christopher and Hailee; and his uncle Bob Bernhardt.
