He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Edwin and Anna Elizabeth Erickson (Carlson); and his brother-in-law Richard Ahlgren. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Erickson (Garland); his family, Vienette Erickson Olson (Paul), Angelica Drews (Christian), Thanh Thi Le (Kennedy Otiso), Natashia Otiso, Adam Olson, Greta Simons, Ashley Olson and Lotus; his sister Ardis Stone; his sister-in-law Claudette Ahlgren; his siblings, Donovan, Rodney and Donna Blair; and his brothers-in-law, Art Stone and Dale Blair. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
