He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy H. Kobus Sr. and Josephine F. Kobus (Figas); his sister Patricia Gorisek (Kobus); his parents-in-law, Dean D. Hipke and Marjorie Hipke (Cahee); his niece Madison Olsen; and his brother-in-law John Krueger (Duke).
He is survived by: his wife Teresa Kobus (Hipke); his children, Elizabeth Alstatt (Kris) of Springfield, Virginia, Dean Kobus of Green Bay, Wisconsin and Rebecca Archambault (Alan) of Peshtigo, Wisconsin.; his grandchildren, Emma Kobus, Josef Alstatt, Clara Alstatt, Paislee Kobus, Harlee Barber, Aviendha Kobus, Alaina Archambault, Amanda Niemi (Rex) and Brody Archambault; and his siblings, Bonnie Richter (Lud), Donna Bemis (Chris), Darlene Corry (Mike), Mary Olsen (Tim), David Kobus (Juliet) and Roy Kobus Jr.. He is also survived by children, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Parish - Our Lady (2735 Taylor St, Marinette, WI 54143). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
