With heavy hearts, we announce the death of LaVerne A Aubert-Olsen of Marinette, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 16, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaac Laundree (Lyle) and Agnes Laundree (Paul); her former husband Erwin Aubert; her husband Lyle J. Olsen; her son-in-law Rick Sakovitz; and her siblings, Harris Laundree and Mary.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Aubert (Sandra "Freddie") of Wallace and Linda Sakovitz of Menominee; her grandchildren, Zak Aubert (Jessica) of Wallace, Seth Sakovitz (Jennifer) of Olathe, KS, Luke Sakovitz (Amber) of Sheboygan, Amara Machalk (Travis) of Cedarburg and Micah Aubert (Kristi) of Wallace; and her great grandchildren, Liam, Vivian, Hunter Sakovitz, Spencer, Sophie, Sawyer Sakovitz, Scarlet, Oliver Machalk and Alarik Aubert. She is also survived by five step children; and many step grand and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Thielen Funeral Home (1403 Newberry Ave, Marinette, WI 54143). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
