She was predeceased by: her husband Dale Sharkey; her parents, John Ellis Viau and Elvera Joanne Viau (Erickson); and her brothers, Gerald Viau and Russel Viau.
She is survived by: her children, Les Sharkey and Lisa Van Hefty (Scott Van Hefty); her siblings, Vernard Viau, Raymond Viau and Betty Viau; and her grandchildren, Marcus Sharkey, Lauren Behnke, Abbigail Van Hefty and Brayden Van Hefty.
