She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Treutel and Gertrude Treutel (Jirschele); her husband Carl Eckes; and her siblings-in-law, James Treutel, Lloyd Treutel (Vi), David Treutel (Sharon), Thelma Pokallus (Ralph) and Elaine Wistrom (Robert).
She is survived by: her children, Carla Nowack (Kevin) of Hewitt, Corey Eckes of Marshfield, Paula Kroskey (Michael) of Marshfield and Rhonda Eckes (Randy Sabel) of Neenah; her grandchildren, Tia and Katelyn Nowack; her stepgranddaughters, Stephanie and Sarah Kroskey; her stepgreat-grandsons, Ryan Kroskey and Mason Kroskey; and her sister-in-law Noreen Treutel of Sussex.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 21st 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rembs Funeral Home and Crematory (300 S Oak Ave, Marshfield, WI 54449). A memorial service was held on Friday, August 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Rembs Funeral Home (300 S Oak Ave, Marshfield, WI 54449).
She volunteered for the American Cancer Society, Look Good Feel Better, Partners and the Wig and Scarf room at the hospital, and Hope Lodge.
