He is survived by: his children, Tammy Norton (Gregg), Laurie Lamb, Scot Boutwell (Michelle), Bernard Klafka Jr., Mark Klafka and Larry Klafka (Michele); his grandchildren, Christie, Nicole, Darrell Jr., Amy, Justin, Tyler, Kayla, Eric, Josh, Stephane, Julia, Nathan and Katie; and his sisters, June Schneider (Doug), Linda Coenen (Bruce) and Ann Abel. He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.
