He was predeceased by: his brothers, David Atkinson, Brian Atkinson and Jason Smikru; and his parents-in-law, Robert Smith and LaFae Smith (Thomas Smith).
He is survived by: his parents, Wallace "Gene" Atkinson (Linda) and Jeanette Larson (Mickey Olson); his wife Ann; his daughters, Erin Kurth and Lindsey Smith (Stefan); his grandchildren, Hailey Valley, Braelyn and Landon Kurth; his siblings, Del Atkinson (Shelly), Debbie Roseth (Steve) and Lisa Matti (Casey); his brothers-in-law, Steve and Paul Smith; and his pet Gertrude Rose "Gertie". He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at 1800 S Roddis Ave, Marshfield, WI 54449.
