He was predeceased by: his parents, Ulrich Renken and Adela Renken (Dengel); his son Michael Renken; his siblings, Janice Framke (Jim), Joyce Bitcon (Jack), Lorene Renken and John P. Renken (Barbara A.); his brothers-in-law, Donald Eckardt, Ray Windorski, Joseph Wianecki and Stanley Wianecki; and his nephew Rick Renken.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa 'Terry Renken of Merrill; his children, Pam Switalski (William 'Bill') of Des Plaines and Alan Renken (Doreen) of Merrill; his grandchildren, Jenna Lezotte (Zach) of Merrill, Chris Renken (Robyn Marinelli) of Merrill, Matt Renken (Ashley) of Rogers, Anthony Renken (Becky) of Merrill, Melissa Tessmer (Jesse) of Milwaukee and Heather Young of Madison; his great grandchildren, Mason, Caden, Emberly, Lexi, Braxton, Jersey, Hunter, Harley, Erik and Kira; his sister Mae Eckardt of Brookfield; his siblings-in-law, Pat Lahr of Wausau, Rose Windorski of California, Rosemary Wianecki of Eagle River, Carol Scheel of Wausau, Sharon Koziel (Lenny) of Wausau, Ray Wianecki (Betty) of Mosinee and Marvin Hartwig (Donna) of Merrill; and his close friend Alice Penegor of Merrill.
The family requests that any memorials be given to the Pine River Volunteer Fire Department in memory of David Renken.
