He is survived by: his son David Zimpel of Maustin; his grandchildren, Erin Paris (David) of St. Petersburg, FL and Ryan McDowall (Kelsey) of Aberdeen, WA; his great grandchildren, Hudson, Grayson Paris, Kellen and Saylor McDowall; his siblings, Carol Kirkpatrick of Kernersville, NC and Harvey Zimpel (Laura) of Abilene, TX; and his son-in-law Carl Amato of Spencer, TN..
