He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuel Gerlach and Gladys Gerlach (Germeroth); and his grandson Evan Gerlach. He is survived by: his wife Julianne Weix; his children, Melissa Hanke (Michael), Angela Gerlach, Katie Bernecker (Josh) and Chad Gerlach (Cindy); his grandchildren, Madison, Marvin, Maverick, Manning Hanke, Grace, Henry Bernecker, Samson, Caleb and Bella Gerlach; and his siblings, Joann Wilson (Tom), Louise Tesmer (Wayne), David Gerlach (Carol), Kathy Freund and Connie Jones (George).
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be designated at a later date.
