He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Klahn and Edith Klahn (Herwig); his wife Nancy Houda; his brother James Klahn; and his grandson Zachary Tran.
He is survived by: his children, Michelle Tran (Jayson), Peter Klahn (Jackie) and Karen Endres (Randy); his grandchildren, Ryan Klahn (Tanner), Stephanie Klahn, Allison Tran (Billy Suta), Madison Klahn, Eliza Endres, Ava Endres, Rebecca Tran, Olivia Tran and Mara Endres; and his brother Larry Klahn (Miki). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
