In loving memory of Hilde Porter of Marshfield, Wisconsin, who departed this world on November 3, 2025 at the age of 81. Hilde leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Hilde's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Hilde has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Soltis and Impe Soltis; her husband Raymond Porter; and her children, Denise Lynn "Nieser" Porter and Bradley J. Porter.
She is survived by: her son Daniel A. Porter (Colleen Duranceau); and her pet Snickers. She is also survived by other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home (1010 E Veterans Pkwy, Marshfield, WI 54449). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
She especially enjoyed gardening and knitting (even knitting countless baby blankets to donate).
