He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Asplin and Stella Asplin; his siblings, Kirk Asplin (Katie), Keith Asplin (Jo) and Lynn Wenzel; and his brothers-in-law, Len Belinski, Rich Richardson and Ken Nysted.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Schmidt; his children, David Asplin (Karen) of Marshfield, Catherine Lotzer (Peter) of Marshfield and Brian Asplin (Janet) of Stevens Point; his grandchildren, Nicholas Lotzer (Brittany) of Marshfield, Christopher Lotzer (Ashlyn) of Marshfield, Taylor Willson (Lance) of Marshfield, Jenna Asplin of Plover, Jason Lundquist of Plover and Jeremy Lundquist of Las Vegas, NV; his great grandchildren, Gavin, Emmett, Finnley Lotzer of Marshfield, Wesley and Adeline Willson of Marshfield; his sisters, Karen Richardson of Albuquerque, NM and Mary Ann Nysted of Fort Atkinson, WI.; his sister-in-law Anna Foss (Sissy) of Marshfield; and his nephew Jim.
