With profound sadness, we say goodbye to James E. Lang (Marshfield, Wisconsin), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lang and Regina Lang; his wife Jeanette A. Russ; his son Lee; his siblings, Joanne Wingert-Riflemann (Lang), Jack Lang, Jerry Lang, Jerome Lang and Jacinta Lang; and his godson Shawn Lang.
He is survived by: his sons, James, Lyle Lang (Julie) and Larry Lang (Patty); his grandchildren, Kip Lang (Sarah) of Spencer and Margo Lang of Madison; his great grandchildren, Jazlyn and Addilyn; his close friend Debbie Brey; his sisters, Janice Hansen of Marshfield, Judy Garfield (Dale) of Marshfield and Jeanie Paasch (Darrell) of Marshfield; his stepgranddaughter Alexandra Meier-Purkapile; his daughter-in-law Nancy Lang; and his grandchild-in-law Kade Dovenbarger. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Rembs Funeral Home and Crematory (300 S Oak Ave, Marshfield, WI 54449). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John's Catholic Church (201 W Blodgett St, Marshfield, WI 54449).
Donations may be made in Jim's Memory to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church or Columbus Catholic High School, both of Marshfield.
