She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Eckes and Mary Eckes (Bauer); and her husband William Borofka. She is survived by: her children, Phillip Borofka (Mary), Charles Borofka (Donna), Julie Christensen (Jim), Jane Borofka and Cathy Schalow (Gordy); her grandchildren, Sarah Schalow, Katie Schalow, Anne Rickman (Zach), Andrew Christensen (Katherine) and Nathan Borofka; and her great grandchildren, Ella, Jake Johnson, Callum Christensen and Isla Rickman.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 28th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Rembs Funeral Home and Crematory (300 S Oak Ave, Marshfield, WI 54449). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location.
