Kay O'Brien Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Kay O'Brien of Marshfield, Wisconsin. Kay, born on February 21, 1948, passed away on September 30, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward D. Klinke and Olive J. Klinke (Keller); and her in-laws, Lila O'Brien and James O'Brien (Patricia). She is survived by: her husband Ron of Mary's Catholic Church; her son Chad (Stephanie); her granddaughters, Lilly, Sofia and Evalyn of Marshfield, WI; her daughter Cara Drexler (Dan); her grandchildren, Jacob, Emmanuel, Gavin and Grace of Stratford, WI.; her siblings, Loraine Adams of Dayton, OH, Rita Platt (Joe) of North Wales, PA and Ralph Klinke; her siblings-in-law, Hedwig Bauer (Klinke), Becky O, Pat (William), Jewell O and James Barrett (Wayne O) of Naples, FL; her siblings, Frank Klinke, Alvin Klinke (Florence), Charles Adams, Lucille Bantz (Howard), Jean Wolstenhome (Gene), Alberta Klinke, Neal Klinke, Ronald Klinke, Claretta Klinke and Karen Barrett; and her in-laws, Kathleen Rueth (Herbert), Jan Klinke, Richard O'Brien and Nancy O'Brien. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (201 W Blodgett St, Marshfield, WI 54449). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church (201 W Blodgett St, Marshfield, WI 54449).

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to express sympathy are encouraged to make a donation to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in memory of Kay.
