He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. William Dovenbarger (Bill) and Betty Dovenbarger; his siblings-in-law, Melody Dovenbarger and Jerry Meissner; and his nephew Travis Dovenbarger.
He is survived by: his former wife Kathy Beinert; his stepdaughter Jenny; his son Kade Dovenbarger; his siblings, Diane Meissner, Eric Dovenbarger (Cynthia) and Vance Dovenbarger; his stepmother Jane Dovenbarger; and his close friend Tanya. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and step-siblings.
In lieu of flowers, gifts can be made in Kurt's memory to Faith Lutheran Church in Marshfield or an education fund being set up for Kade.
