He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth M. Knutson; and his sisters, Mona Hansen, Darlene Anderson, Viola Bauman, Charlene Zychowicz and Betty Ress.
He is survived by: his children, Danny Ress of Marshfield, Lori Ress (Dave Felton) of Spencer and Donn Ress (Denise) of Spencer; his grandchildren, Kim Ress, Melissa Ress, Daniel Ress, Tyler Ress (Stacey), Stefanie Ress (Jerrod Field) and David Ress; his great grandchildren, Andrew and Ezra Ress; and his brothers, Floyd Ress of Marshfield and Henry Ress, Jr. (Lori) of Marshfield. He is also survived by In-laws and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Peter's Lutheran Church (113851 Elm Tree Rd, Marshfield, WI 54449). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
