He was predeceased by: his mother Bonnie M. Pelzer (Krueger). He is survived by: his father Max O. Pelzer; his wife Noriko Shimo; his daughters, Julie (Jason Kuck), Christie (Ben Daniel) and Mindy (Jeff Kneifl); his grandchildren, Alex Kuck, Oliver, Emma Daniel and Hunter Kneifl; and his siblings, Scott Pelzer (Karen), Sherry Fuhrman (Tom) and Todd Pelzer (Kristine). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
