He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Dittner and Marie Dittner (Bushman); his brother John; his sister-in-law Beverly Dittner; and his sister Dorothy Smilde.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen; his daughters, Terry Theurer (David) of Tucson, AZ, Sharon Yost (Barry) of Marshfield, Rosanne Frank (Robert) of Spencer and Myra Westberg (Rick) of Unity; and his sister Geraldine Schweiss (Robert) of Niswa, MN.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
