He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Braem and Grace Braem (Truhler); his parents-in-law, Floyd and Arvilla DeJarlais; his sister Violet Hansen; his brothers-in-law, Jim Hansen, Barney Eckes and Richard DeJarlais; his sons-in-law, Jack Zahr and Gilbert Montoya; and his nephew Dick Hansen.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie DeJarlais; his children, Richard Braem (Kay) of Janesville, WI, Michael Braem of Easley, SC, Jan Zahr of Apple Valley, MN, James Braem (Gloria) of Central Valley, UT, John Braem of Appleton, Lori Montoya of Marshfield and Susan Dueber (Chuck); his grandchildren, Jeremy Braem, Kristie Howe (Ray), Laura Kurten (Calvin), Rebecca Kelly (Seamus), Jared Braem, Brittney Purucker (Rachel), Joey Dueber and Riley Dueber; and his great grandchildren, Gage, Aubrey, Noah, Jameson, Thomas and Gavin.
