Johnston of Marshfield, Wisconsin, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 17, 2024 at the age of 77. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Johnston and Mary Jane Johnston (Comer); and his brother-in-law Dave Rennhack (Sue). He is survived by: his wife Judy Garrels (Rennhack); his children, Ryan (Jennifer) of Fargo, ND, Jessica Garrels of Grand Ledge, MI, Ali (Bud) of Duluth, MN and Samantha Garrels of Champlin, MN; his grandchildren, Ethan, Leif, George and Acy; his siblings, Nancy Russ and Chris Johnston (Pam); and his sister-in-law Laurie Hoffman (Bob).
