He was predeceased by: his father-in-law Phil Balbach; and his grandparents, Herman, Justina Selz and Wanda Schesel. He is survived by: his parents, Edward Selz and Frances Selz (Schesel); his wife Vicki Selz (Balbach) of Anthony's Catholic Church; his children, Paul Selz (Trisha), Kayla Barteck (Matthew) and Kelsi Krings (Cooper); his grandchildren, Blakely, Brycen Selz, Peyton, Hunter Barteck, Taytum and Kamryn Krings; his goddaughter Stella Selz; and his siblings, Mark Selz (Diane), Dave Selz (Kathy), Rick Selz (Peggy), Bob Selz (Katey Walker) and Anne Schwan (Marty). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews and his great nieces.
In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established at a later date.
