He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Hagstrom and Mildred Hagstrom (Johnson); his brothers, Elwood and Gerald; and his grandson Christian Thompson.

He is survived by: his wife Marlene A. Hagstrom (Wicklund); his children, Brenda LaBorde (Don), Becky Flaherty (Tim), Terry Hagstrom (Torie), Lorry Hagstrom (Jenean) and Heidi Dudley (John); his sisters, Betty Hagstrom (Wes Rasmussen) and Ethel Smith (Gary); his sister-in-law Peggy Hagstrom; his grandchildren, Dawson (Allison), Nathan LaBorde, Eli, Noah Flaherty, McKaylee Franzen (Brad), Tristan Hagstrom, Luke, Brooke, Bria, Matthew, Malachi, Joshua Hagstrom, Kevin, Lauren, Eric, Levi and Isaiah Dudley; his great grandchildren, Edison, Michael and Ember LaBorde; and his grandchildren, Raena and Sylvie Franzen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
