He is survived by: his sons, Jerod Hecimovich, Jameson Hecimovich (Christine) and Dusty Hecimovich; his grandchildren, Nolan Hecimovich, Henry Hecimovich, Kaley Hecimovich and Claire Hecimovich; and his sisters, Diane Smart (Richard), Judy Griffiths (Bruce), Patti Ekstrom (Kevin) and Sally Hallah (Kamel). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Peter Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
