He is survived by: his great grandchild Chuck; his wife Esther Chapman; his children, Kathy Brandel (Mark), Scott (Sarah) and Melanie Sommerfield (Christopher); his grandchildren, Jeffrey Ruby (Lauren), Anita Nielsen, Aimee Steinbrink (Nicholas), Alexander Brandel (Lindsey), Mikayla Faivre, Megan Faivre and Mason Faivre; his brothers, Irvin Ruby (Jan) and James Ruby (Louise); and his great grandchildren, Eva Nielsen, Elsa Nielsen, Jack Nielsen, Hayden Steinbrink, Jordan Steinbrink, Logan Steinbrink, Leigham Becerra and Benson Brandel.
